I like Spring better

In high school, I had one of those 3 ring binders with the clear plastic cover. I stuffed mine to the brim with quotes that inspired me. Front and center was a quote given to me by my best friend, and the one that inspired me the most: "in the depths of winter, I found within myself an invincible spring."
He told me he couldn't remember who said it, but that it was a quote that had always inspired him. I found out years later, the quote was wrong. He had misremembered a famous line from Albert Camus: "In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer." I was disappointed. Not because I had the quote wrong for a long time, but because I like my version better. Summer makes me think of heat and tiring long days. Spring brings to mind renewal and morning fog. I think of the smell in the air after a cool spring rain...
So I left my quote the way it is, the way it means much more to me.
